CJ for House District 64

Primary Candidate for Montana House District 64

 

I am currently a Senior at Montana State University obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Leadership Studies. Throughout my academic career, I have been involved in many different leadership roles including: Resident Hall Association, Orientation Leader, Peer Advisor, Student Assistant, an officer for the Triathlon Club, a Teaching Assistant for the Leadership foundations course, Big Sky BreaksAway Leader, and a Senator for Associated Students of Montana State University (ASMSU).

 

These roles have allowed me to develop my leadership abilities in many different capacities.Through the leadership roles I have participated in at MSU, I have gained experience and flourished within many areas such as public speaking, dialogue, and active listening. I am capable of using these acquired skills to be a voice for Montana.

I am running to represent Montana from a younger prospective. I have a lot of leadership experience and would love to apply it in a different and more dynamic way. I am confident that I can adequately represent Montana and the Bozeman constituents in a holistic manner. I will do this by advocating in the best interest of those living in Montana House District 64 and all parts of Gallatin County.

 

As a native Montanan, I have a very good understanding about what this great state has to offer and the kind of legislation required to preserve access to outdoor recreation. The majority of House District 64 is composed of wildness and preserving the quality of life for those living here should be one of the main focuses for this district. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, I believe we should promote responsible access to our great outdoors.

 

With my experience, the skills I have acquired and my enthusiasm for everything Bozeman has to offer, I know I can make a positive impact in this community. I am very hard working and driven and hope to be successful in my political endeavors.
